Military Jackets

When most people think about military jackets, the first thing that often comes to mind is a tough, heavy leather flight jacket. While there's nothing wrong with these jackets, they aren't always appropriate all the time. They're stylish and go with any look, but since they are so heavy they aren't always good in warmer weather.

Fortunately, there are lighter military jackets that can be worn in more moderate weather. McGyver jackets are lightweight military jackets made mostly out of cotton, which makes them machine washable and generally easier to care for than a heavy leather jacket. They can be worn in just about any climate thanks to draw strings that allow the wearer to create a warm, snug fit and a detachable hood. If the temperature starts to drop, all you have to do is tighten the draw strings and pull up the hood.

In warmer weather, loosen the draw strings and remove the hood for a cooler, more comfortable look. Perhaps the best part of wearing a McGyver jacket is the five front pockets that allow you to carry just about anything. These pockets make the jackets even more versatile and utilitarian enough to remind you that this is indeed a genuine military jacket. There is a great selection of McGyver jackets for men at These jackets come in a variety of sizes and colors, so you should be able to easily find something that fits your style.
