I was given an out-of-town assignment in Palawan in my previous job. It was my first time to see the place so everything was really new to me. In fact, the first thing that came to my mind when I stepped down from the plane was "different dimension". Puerto Princesa for me is still like "untoched". No tall buildings and of course free from traffic. The smell of fresh air is all over the place. I am so grateful and excited about being in Palawan.
The task given was really demanding so I never had the chance to explore the city. I just took a day off for the rest of my 6 weeks assignment to do the laundry but a colleague offered me to join her to go Island Hopping with her cousins from Manila that same day. With much excitement, I left my laundry and went with her to see the beauty of Honda Bay.
We went to several islands and islets but we stayed longer at Snake Island where we had lunch and enjoyed snorkeling and fish feeding. The experience was so amazing. The water was naturally clean and the place is like heaven. Never seen anything like it before. Thanks to you Mather Amity.

You can reach Honda Bay traveling by land for around 30 minutes from Puerto Princesa City. Hiring a boat for the day is what most people do because it gives them more opportunity to explore the area. Surprisingly, cottages are free at the Snake Island but donations are also welcome.
Aside from the good people and the good food, this trip is the most unforgettable experience I had in Palawan. Thank you so much Mather Amity for the tour. Hope we can do this someday with our family especially with our little ones.
